Under 16's Aylesbury October 2013

C&NW U16's enjoyed early success in their HA Championship campaign

The newly formed squad beat local rivals Edgbaston 2-0 with second half goals from Gabriel Thornton and Sam Williams the two youngest squad members.

Having established a little more pattern and understanding the youngsters took on a much larger Aylesbury side.

Two early goals barely a minute apart from Cameron Watson and Captain Tom Morgan calmed the nerves and C&NW began to dominate. Watson added another in the 16th minute only for Aylesbury to pull one back eight minutes later.

3-1 up at half time Coventry soon made things certain with early goals from Ollie Shearman and Bhavan Thiara. Jonny Leong made it 6-1 and then Thiara and Thornton both added their second to make it 8-1 at full time.

C&NW now take on Oxford and Olton on the 11th.
