Gurdip played in the 1970's and 80's. He was a regular and well regarded member of an extremely successful 4thXI, which was packed with ex county and international players. Gurdip was a very competent and reliable player who was extremely popular both within 4th XI and throughout the rest of the club. He was above all a gentleman both on and off the pitch and will be greatly missed, especially for his work as GP within the City.
