Nigel Toney

I am sorry to report that Nige Toney passed away yesterday (22nd September) having lost his battle against cancer.
Nige was a model club member, who's commitment to the club could never be questioned. On the pitch he gave no quarter whilst of the pitch he was a real gentleman and a genuine nice guy.
Only last season Nige marshalled the 3rd team defence to a championship winning performance, his contribution to the club will always be remembered and will live on in the form of the many youngsters who benefited from playing along side him.
Our thoughts are with his family.
I will advise of any arrangements once they are known.
